CENJOWS, IAI-ASI’s MRSAM India Summit For Making India Self-Reliant in Missile Defence: New Delhi – The Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS) convened key players in India’s defence sector for the MRSAM India Eco-System Summit 2.0 on Tuesday, May 7, 2025, at the Manekshaw Centre. Hosted in collaboration with Aerospace Services India (ASI) and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), the day-long event underscored the nation’s commitment to bolstering its air and missile defence capabilities under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Make-in-India initiatives.
The summit drew significant participation from high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Indian Armed Forces, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and leading defence public sector undertakings (PSUs) such as Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), alongside prominent Indian defence manufacturers. A palpable sense of shared purpose resonated throughout the event, with participants expressing a unified dedication to transforming India into a global powerhouse for advanced defence systems. This includes key subsystems like the formidable BARAK 8 missile and the advanced Air Defence Fire Control Radar.
