EDGE Group Co. AL TAIF and ST Engineering Land MRO & Services Sign MoU for Land Platform MRO: Abu Dhabi, UAE – July 2, 2025 – AL TAIF, a provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services and an entity of EDGE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ST Engineering Land MRO & Services, a Singapore-based technology, defense, and engineering group. The preliminary agreement was signed by Rashed Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of AL TAIF, and Lim Beng Lee, Executive Vice President and General Manager of STELMS. This collaboration aims for AL TAIF and STELMS to identify business opportunities in augmenting land platform MRO processes in the UAE.

Key areas of cooperation outlined in the MOU include Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) solutions, intended to enhance maintenance operations with tools for asset management, preventive maintenance scheduling, work order tracking, and resource optimization.

The agreement also covers Fleet Instrumentation and Monitoring, focusing on developing integrated solutions that leverage IoT, artificial intelligence, analytics, and workshop automation to optimize MRO processes, with the goal of improving operational efficiency and reliability. Additionally, the MOU includes Consultancy and Training, where STELMS will share its expertise in MRO consultancy and training, offering engineering solutions such as remanufacturing and service life extension for platforms and components.

This partnership indicates a commitment from both organizations to advance MRO capabilities and deliver solutions intended to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of land platforms.
