The reveal took place at the inaugural RMMV Mobility Days in Vienna, an event that gathered approximately 120 participants from 22 countries to witness the future of military mobility.
The TGS-Mil Protected represents a crucial advancement in tactical logistics, building upon RMMV’s established TG-generation of military trucks produced at its Vienna facility. The showcased model features a robust, protected cabin designed for two personnel, a solution meticulously developed by Rheinmetall to meet stringent current NATO standards. This new vehicle is available in versatile 6×6 and 8×8 configurations, ensuring adaptability across diverse operational environments.
A cornerstone of the TGS-Mil Protected’s design is its modular philosophy, allowing for extensive customization to suit a wide spectrum of mission profiles. This includes scalable protection levels, integration of advanced communication systems, and a variety of specialized payload options, offering unparalleled flexibility to military forces worldwide.

Adhering to Euro II, V, and VIe-standards, the engine is also fully compatible with NATO fuel F34. Critically, its drive and chassis systems leverage proven components from the civilian sector, a design choice that simplifies maintenance and ensures global serviceability. The all-wheel drive system guarantees exceptional off-road capabilities, a vital attribute for military operations in challenging terrains.

The RMMV Mobility Days 2025, held under the inspiring motto ‘Innovation in Motion’, provided attendees with comprehensive insights into RMMV’s latest products and ongoing activities. A highlight of the program was a detailed factory tour of the long-standing production facility in Vienna-Liesing.
This facility has recently undergone significant upgrades, incorporating a state-of-the-art logistics system and digitized manufacturing processes, positioning it to produce approximately 4,000 HX and TG vehicles annually to meet escalating global demand. Beyond the static displays, RMMV also showcased the remarkable versatility and off-road prowess of its HX and TG vehicle families at a dedicated off-road site near Vienna. The event also offered a glimpse into future technologies, including demonstrations of tele-operated driving and autonomous mobility solutions.
