DRDO Pinaka Missile System: DRDO conducted two back-to-back tests of Pinaka Missile System on Thursday and Friday in which the missiles were fired from the multiple barrel launchers in a salvo mode.
While the first trial which was conducted on Thursday was able to achieve the full range of 75 kilometers, in the second test conducted on Friday, multiple missiles were fired simultaneously in a salvo mode to overwhelm an enemy.

Both the tests were conducted at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, off the Odisha coast.
