India deploys locally built combat helicopters at Pakistan border

IAF deploys LCH at Pakistan border: Indian Air Force is deploying locally designed and developed Light Combat Helicopters that are equipped with air-to-air missiles and anti-tank guided missiles on India’s western borders.

These indigenously designed and developed combat helicopters that are manufactured at state owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) can destroy Pakistan Army’s tank columns and armoured vehicles in desert warfare.

Indian Air Force (IAF) is the world’s fourth largest air force and it has been adding new and newer lethal machines to its inventory such as Apache attack helicopters and Chinook heavy lift helicopters land deploying them on China and Pakistan border.

However, the deployment of a locally designed and developed Light Combat Helicopter, which is still in limited series production (LSP) shows the confidence the Indian Air Force has in them.
