A major highlight of this year’s exercise is the focus on air-to-air combat, air defence, and joint strike operations. The IAF’s involvement underscores its commitment to strengthening defense ties with key international allies. The use of C-17 Globemaster III for airlift support and IL-78 tankers for extending the operational range of fighters demonstrates the growing technical sophistication of the IAF’s operations.
The exercise not only offers the opportunity for mutual learning but also fosters deeper cooperation in air operations between India and France. The collaborative effort emphasizes the strategic importance of joint training and sharing best practices, reinforcing the commitment of both nations to military cooperation.
