AISAT Investment at Noida International Airport at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh: Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) has committed to investing ₹4,458 crore at the Noida International Airport in Jewar, marking a significant private sector contribution to the region’s aviation and logistics infrastructure. The investment was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between AISATS and the Uttar Pradesh government on February 22, 2026, during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Singapore.

Expansion of Cargo and Catering Facilities

The AISATS investment will focus on establishing two key facilities at the airport: an integrated cargo campus and a world-class air catering kitchen. These facilities are designed to enhance the airport’s role as a major logistics and trade hub for northern India, improving both export efficiency and regional supply chains. The cargo campus will provide vital infrastructure for industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, facilitating smoother import-export operations.

Long-Term Impact on the Region’s Economy

The investment will not only improve logistical capacity but also generate significant employment opportunities in the aviation support services sector.
