Embraer at Wings India 2026: Hyderabad, January 27, 2026 — Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer will spotlight its next-generation commercial aircraft at Wings India 2026, placing the E195-E2 and E175 at the centre of its presence at the aviation show beginning January 28 in Hyderabad.

The company said its strong participation reflects a long-term commitment to India’s fast-growing aviation market, particularly the expansion of regional connectivity and the push toward more sustainable air travel. Both aircraft are positioned as “right-sized” solutions for airlines looking to connect secondary and tertiary cities while maintaining operational flexibility and efficiency.

On static display will be the E195-E2, described by Embraer as the world’s quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft in its category. The small narrowbody jet features advanced aerodynamics, a new wing design and updated technologies that together deliver a 29% reduction in fuel burn and carbon emissions per seat compared with first-generation E-Jets. Typically configured to seat between 132 and 146 passengers, the aircraft targets the sub-150-seat market segment.

Embraer estimates that India will require at least 500 aircraft in the 80- to 146-seat range over the next two decades. The E2 family, the company said, offers the highest seat profitability in the small narrowbody segment and is certified to operate with up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Its engines have already been proven to operate with 100% SAF, underscoring Embraer’s sustainability ambitions.

Also featured will be the E175, a regional jet already operating in India with Star Air. Seating up to 88 passengers, the E175 is widely recognised for its reliability and operating economics. It commands around 80% of the regional jet market in the United States and has recently received upgrades to its avionics, cabin and overall passenger experience to align more closely with the E2 family.

“Embraer’s E-Jet programme is one of the most successful in the industry,” said Adity Shekhar, Regional Vice President, Sales, Embraer. “The E-Jets family can transform and grow regional connectivity from tier two and tier three cities in India, tapping on ‘blue ocean’ opportunities.”

Embraer is the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial jets with up to 150 seats. More than 1,900 E-Jets and E-Jets E2 aircraft have been delivered and are operated by over 80 airlines across 50 countries. In India, nearly 50 Embraer aircraft across 11 variants are currently in service with the Indian Air Force, government agencies, business jet operators and regional airlines.

Beyond commercial aviation, Embraer is also proposing its C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft to the Indian Air Force under the Medium Transport Aircraft programme, in partnership with an Indian conglomerate as part of the government’s “Make in India” initiative.

As the Aviation Innovation Partner for Wings India 2026, Embraer said it will present a full range of products and services aimed at supporting India’s sustainable aviation growth. Visitors can explore the company’s offerings at Booth 9B, Hall B, throughout the event.
