Sasmos Larsen-Toubro High Power Radar Electric Wire Harness: Bengaluru: SASMOS, a leading provider of advanced design and manufacturing solutions for defence and aerospace platforms, has begun delivery of the first lot of wiring harnesses for high-power radar systems to L&T Precision Engineering & Systems under a strategic multi-year contract.
The company announced on December 24 that the first batch of 200 high-power radar (HPR) wiring harness sets has been completed and is ready for delivery. The milestone was achieved in less than five months, despite the programme involving complex technological requirements, including the integration of specialty products such as fibre-optic assemblies.
The delivery marks a key execution milestone in the collaboration between SASMOS and L&T Precision Engineering & Systems to strengthen India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem through high-reliability, indigenously developed interconnect solutions for next-generation radar platforms.

Manufactured at SASMOS’s state-of-the-art facility in Bengaluru, the first lot includes complex high-power and signal-distribution harnesses incorporating advanced technologies such as fibre optics. The systems meet stringent defence-grade standards, underscoring SASMOS’s capabilities in producing mission-critical solutions for advanced aerospace and defence applications.

The company said subsequent lots under the programme are already under production, with a structured ramp-up plan aligned with L&T’s manufacturing and deployment timelines.
