(GRSE) signed five strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on Saturday, 20th September 2025, during the launch of the ‘Samudra Se Samriddhi’ Mission at Bhavnagar. The initiative, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is a cornerstone of India’s Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision, a blueprint aimed at revitalizing the nation’s maritime industry and strengthening its position in the global shipbuilding sector.

A Pivotal Moment for India’s Maritime Future

The signing ceremony, attended by industry leaders and key stakeholders, underscored GRSE’s critical role in supporting India’s maritime self-reliance. The MoUs, aimed at fostering collaboration across various maritime domains, reinforce GRSE’s commitment to the growth of India’s shipbuilding industry, particularly in the areas of green technology, infrastructure development, and port logistics.

PR Hari, Chairman and Managing Director of GRSE, emphasized the significance of the MoUs in advancing India’s maritime aspirations. “We are proud to be part of this historic programme, which aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision to propel India into the top ranks of global shipbuilding nations by 2047.
