Germany to Buy Kongsberg’s Joint Strike Missile for F-35 Fighter: OSLO, NORWAY – Germany is set to acquire the advanced Joint Strike Missile (JSM) for its fleet of F-35 fighter jets, entering into an agreement with Norwegian manufacturer Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace valued at approximately 6.5 billion Norwegian Krone, or about $644 million. The decision makes Germany the fifth NATO ally and international partner to select the sophisticated, long-range missile for its fifth-generation aircraft.
