Australia’s Ryan Aerospace has bagged the Small Business of the Year Award in the International Military Training and Simulation (MS&T) awards. The prestigious award recognizes the products, processes and organisations that deliver the sustained innovation and quality products and services in the field of military simulation and training.

“It’s recognition of many years of hard work, persistence and a yearning desire to continue innovating and disrupting traditional training markets,” said Chris Ryan, Managing Director of Ryan Aerospace.

“Face of simulation and training is changing dramatically and the products developed by the company can train helicopter and jet fighter pilots more safely and at a much lower cost,” Chris Ryan said in a statement sent to Defence Star.

Ryan Aerospace specializes in the design, manufacture and through-life support of helicopter simulation training systems and its products are used by the US Army, US Navy, US Air Force and the US Marine Corp, among others.

Chris said the market for such training products has expanded in Europe, Asia and Australia, especially for the new products that use virtual reality and mixed reality technologies.

“We have been working with friends, partners and colleagues all around the world to expand our network, especially Precision Flight Controls and Vertex Solutions based in the US who have helped work in these markets,” Chris Ryan added.
