DCX Systems wins major order for maritime patrol radar: New Delhi: DCX Systems has secured a significant purchase order worth ₹563.45 crore (≈ $60.6 million), marking a major milestone for the Bengaluru-based defence electronics firm and reinforcing its role in India’s rapidly expanding indigenous defence ecosystem.
The contract, awarded by a domestic client, involves the manufacture and supply of advanced Maritime Patrol Radar (MPR) systems for airborne platforms. Announced around March 20, 2026, the order—valued at ₹5,634,500,000 (≈ $60,586,000), includes taxes and falls within the company’s regular business operations.
Strengthening Maritime Surveillance
The MPR systems are designed to enhance India’s maritime domain awareness by enabling high-performance aerial surveillance. These radars play a critical role in detecting and tracking vessels, supporting missions such as anti-piracy operations, coastal security, and monitoring activities within India’s exclusive economic zone.
