In his statement in the Rajya Sabha, India’s defence minister Rajnath Singh said as part of the disengagement process in the Ladakh region, China has agreed to move its forces back to Finger 8, and Indian Army will move back its troops to its permanent post, Dhan Singh Thapa Post, near Finger 3 on the north bank of Pangong Tso lake in Eastern Ladakh.
